Just kidding!!! I know I wrote in my previous post that this skirt wasn't my favorite because the fabric pooched out in an unflattering manner around the tummy area. Well, today I was playing dress-up in my closet to find out which clothing is starting to fit, and I happened to put this top on that I made last January. Then I paired it with a gray and black cardigan which was a recent purchase from Target (clearance rack!). And then I was reaching for a plain black skirt and my eyes fell on this one. Hey, I told myself, these burgundies totally match! And when I pull the top down over the fabric in the front, the poochyness disappears. What a fun outfit! I love it!Can you tell I'm excited about figuring out how to style this skirt?

I love this outfit and I love that skirt! I don't blame you for being super excited. I would have never thought about putting those pieces together. BTW, it doesn't look like you recently had a baby! I nursed and didn't get my figure back that fast! Looking good!

You have reminded me how it is such a good idea to take a bit of time to try out different garments together. Sometimes the absolute perfect outfit is sitting in your wardrobe - you just need to find it!
