That's why I'm too much of a coward to participate in the wardrobe contest. I applaud your fortitude in keeping with it. If you're bored, perhaps adding another color to the mix would help. Add something you like. Maybe orange or yellow would add some oompf. Use the color as an accent on a planned garment, or even make a simple accessory to go with the wardrobe.A Notion to Sewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03704500124509088429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3357280502639180937.post-18405027722941119902009-10-19T14:02:45.779-05:002009-10-19T14:02:45.779-05:00We went to the RenFest last weekend. I was just drooling over it last night and then I saw your post. I am going to check out to see if Hancock's has that fabric when I am at mine on Thursday. Don't feel bad about the wardrobe contest. If you don't want to complete it, just don't. Sewing should be fun. I never plan on entering one because I sew too slowly. I have been thinking lately about taking a break from sewing after I finish up a few garments and just concentrating on knitting for awhile. Doing both is getting a little expensive.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00688966589348240850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3357280502639180937.post-19307258785248562482009-10-19T05:12:39.391-05:002009-10-19T05:12:39.391-05:00That faux leather looks lovely, just perfect for t...That faux leather looks lovely, just perfect for that jacket - I bet it's going to look great. Interesting what you say about the wardrobe boredom - I expect it's a temporary blip - if you allow yourself a distraction and make something in an entirely different color, you'll then be ready to get back to the wardrobe. I think your wardrobe plan is terrific.Eugeniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07584571701550775408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3357280502639180937.post-8505155664206710412009-10-19T01:42:27.383-05:002009-10-19T01:42:27.383-05:00Does it help if I do some cheerleading for you?
